Tour Description .

Thanks to its unique topography, Edinburgh has become famous as one of the most beautiful cities in Europe.

During your Private Tour of the Old Town, you will learn about the history of this medieval city, spanning more than 3000 years; from the first tribes that populated the area, the Picts, to the great figures of the Scottish Enlightenment. We will discuss some of the most important buildings, such as Saint Giles’ Cathedral and City Chambers. You will walk through its most iconic streets, including the Royal Mile, Chambers Street and Victoria Street; the latter being the inspiration for the writer of Harry Potter when she created Diagon Alley.

We will also see the statue of the famous dog, Greyfriars Bobby, just outside of Greyfriars Kirkyard, where many mysteries, legends and paranormal activity are waiting to be discovered. The Harry Potter connections also continue, as J.K. Rowling used the graveyard for inspiration and wrote parts of the books nearby; join us to find out more!

With so many centuries of history, Scotland's capital is rich in stories and legends. You cannot miss this Private Tour of Edinburgh!
